
Lala Lajpat Rai (Lion of Punjab)
Lala Lajpat Rai, known as the "Lion of Punjab," was a prominent Indian nationalist leader who fought against British colonial rule in India. Born in 1865, he passionately advocated for independence, education, and social reform. He organized protests and inspired many Indians to unite for their freedom. His leadership was crucial in mobilizing public resistance, particularly in Punjab. Tragically, he was injured during a protest against British policies and later died from his injuries in 1928. His courage and dedication made him a symbol of Indian patriotism and resistance against oppression.
