Lê dynasty
The Lê dynasty was a Vietnamese ruling family that governed from 1428 to 1789, with some interruptions. It was established after defeating the Ming Chinese occupation and is known for restoring stability, promoting Confucian principles, and cultural development. The dynasty is divided into two periods: the Early Lê, which solidified independence, and the Later Lê, marked by internal conflicts and power struggles among feudal lords. Despite challenges, the Lê rulers fostered arts, education, and a sense of Vietnamese identity, leaving a lasting legacy in Vietnam’s history.
