Kurt Huber
Kurt Huber was a German professor and philosopher, best known for co-founding the White Rose resistance group during World War II. This non-violent movement actively opposed Nazi rule by distributing leaflets encouraging resistance and awareness of the regime’s atrocities. Huber used his academic position to support and inspire the movement's brave activism. Tragically, he was arrested, tried, and executed by the Nazis in 1943 for his involvement. Today, he is remembered as a courageous figure who stood against tyranny, emphasizing moral integrity and the importance of individual resistance in the face of injustice.
