Kurdistan
Kurdistan refers to a culturally and linguistically diverse region primarily inhabited by Kurds, an ethnic group in the Middle East. It spans across parts of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria, where Kurds seek greater autonomy or independence. While there is no independent nation called Kurdistan, several Kurdish areas have established semi-governing zones, such as Iraqi Kurdistan, which has its own government. The region is rich in history and resources but has faced political conflicts and struggles for recognition and self-determination. Kurdistan symbolizes Kurdish identity, culture, and aspirations for greater self-rule within the complex Middle Eastern landscape.
