Korea (North and South)
Korea is a peninsula in East Asia that is divided into two countries: North Korea and South Korea. North Korea is a communist state with a centralized government, limited foreign influence, and a focus on military power. South Korea is a democratic country with a vibrant economy, technological innovation, and strong global ties. The two Koreas share cultural roots but have evolved separately since their division after World War II, which was formalized by the Korean War (1950-1953). Despite tensions, both nations share a rich history and cultural identity.
