Kollasuyu
Kollasuyu was a historical region that formed the southeastern part of the Inca Empire, corresponding mainly to present-day Bolivia and parts of surrounding countries. Its name means "southern region" in Quechua, the Incas’ language. Kollasuyu was significant for its highland geography, rich in minerals and agriculture, and was a vital area for the empire’s resources and administration. It played a key role in the Inca civilization’s expansion and integration, serving as a cultural and economic hub. Today, Kollasuyu reflects the shared heritage and historical identity of indigenous peoples in the southern Andes.
