King Tutankhamun
King Tutankhamun, commonly called King Tut, was an Egyptian pharaoh who ruled around 1332–1323 BC during the 18th Dynasty. Despite his short reign and young age, he is famous because his nearly intact tomb was discovered in 1922, revealing exquisite treasures and offering valuable insights into ancient Egyptian culture and burial practices. His tomb’s relatively untouched state has made him one of the most well-known figures of ancient Egypt, symbolizing the grandeur and mystery of that civilization. However, he was not among the most powerful or long-reigning pharaohs, and much about his life remains a subject of study and fascination.
