Kimilsungism

Kimilsungism is an ideology developed around North Korea's founding leader, Kim Il-sung. It emphasizes strong nationalism, self-reliance (known as Juche), and the importance of a central leader's guidance. As a guiding political philosophy, it combines elements of socialism with a focus on independence from foreign influence, aiming to build a unified, prosperous nation under Kim Il-sung's principles. It’s also used to legitimize the authority of the ruling Kim family and shape North Korea’s political policies and culture.
