
Kiichiro Toyoda
Kiichiro Toyoda was a prominent Japanese industrialist and the founder of Toyota Motor Corporation, one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers. Born in 1894, he initially worked in the family’s textile machinery business before shifting focus to automobiles. In 1936, he launched the Toyota AA, the company’s first passenger car. Toyoda is credited with introducing innovative manufacturing practices, including the famous Toyota Production System, which emphasizes efficiency and quality. His vision transformed Toyota into a global leader in the automotive industry, setting standards that many companies now strive to emulate. He passed away in 1952, leaving a lasting legacy.
