Kibo Laboratory
Kibo Laboratory is Japan's science and research module on the International Space Station (ISS). It serves as a versatile workspace where scientists conduct experiments in fields like biology, medicine, materials, and space technology. Kibo provides a controlled environment with advanced equipment, enabling research that can't be done on Earth. Its purpose is to expand our understanding of science and support technological advancements, benefiting both space exploration and life on Earth. Launched in 2008, Kibo is a key part of international efforts to study space and develop new knowledge in microgravity conditions.
