Keisha Lance Bottoms is an American politician and attorney who served as the 61st mayor of Atlanta, Georgia, from 2018 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she focused on issues such as affordable housing, public safety, and economic development during her tenure. Bottoms is known for her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and her response to racial justice protests in 2020. Before becoming mayor, she served on the Atlanta City Council.
