Kamose

Kamose was an ancient Egyptian prince and military leader, known primarily for his role during the Second Intermediate Period, around the 17th century BCE. He is often recognized as one of the last rulers of the 17th Dynasty, and is notable for his efforts to expel the Hyksos, a foreign group that had taken control of parts of Egypt. His tenure is marked by military campaigns that laid the groundwork for the eventual reunification of Egypt under his brother, Ahmose I.
