Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE)

The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) is a space mission launched by the European Space Agency to study Jupiter and its three largest moons: Ganymede, Europa, and Callisto. Launched in 2023, JUICE aims to understand the moons’ ice-covered surfaces, liquid oceans beneath, and potential to support life. It will orbit Jupiter and conduct detailed observations using scientific instruments, addressing questions about their geology, magnetic environments, and habitability. JUICE’s findings will enhance our knowledge of icy worlds, planetary systems, and the conditions that might support life beyond Earth.
