Juno spacecraft

Juno is NASA’s spacecraft exploring Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. Launched in 2011, it orbits close to Jupiter to study its atmosphere, magnetic field, and deep interior. Juno’s mission is to understand how Jupiter formed and evolved, which can provide insights into the origins of our solar system. It uses advanced instruments to measure water, analyze radiation, and map gravity and magnetic fields, helping scientists learn about Jupiter's structure and dynamics. Juno operates in a highly elliptical orbit, enabling detailed observations while withstanding intense radiation near the planet.
