Jungian concepts
Jungian concepts explore how our minds contain both conscious thoughts and deeper layers called the unconscious. Within this unconscious are archetypes—universal symbols like the Hero or Shadow—that influence our perceptions and behavior. Jung believed personal growth involves integrating these archetypes, balancing our inner light and darkness. He also emphasized the importance of the Collective Unconscious, a shared reservoir of human experience across cultures. Through dreams, myths, and fantasies, these elements reveal insights about ourselves, helping us achieve a sense of wholeness—a process he called individuation.
