Jose Corazon de Jesus

José Corazón de Jesús, also known as Huseng Batute, was a prominent Filipino poet, writer, and patriot born in 1894. He is celebrated for his contributions to Philippine literature, particularly in Tagalog. De Jesus's poetry often explored themes of love, nationalism, and social issues, reflecting the struggles of the Filipino people during the early 20th century.
