Joint Obligors

Joint obligors are two or more parties who share a legal obligation to fulfill a specific duty, such as paying a debt or performing a contract. If one obligor fails to meet their responsibilities, the others are still accountable for the entire obligation. This means that creditors can pursue any one of the joint obligors for payment, making them collectively liable. Joint obligors often enter into agreements together, so their shared responsibility can impact their financial and legal standing, as all parties are equally responsible for meeting the terms of the agreement.
