John Dalton (scientist)

John Dalton was an influential 19th-century scientist known for his work in chemistry and physics. He introduced the atomic theory, proposing that all matter is made up of tiny, indivisible particles called atoms, each with specific weights. Dalton’s atomic theory helped explain chemical reactions and the properties of elements. He also studied color blindness, sometimes called Daltonism, named after him. His work laid the foundation for modern chemistry, providing a systematic way to understand the composition and behavior of matter at the atomic level.
