John Connally

John Connally was an American politician and diplomat, best known for serving as the Governor of Texas from 1963 to 1969. He was also a Treasury Secretary under President Nixon and served as the Secretary of the Navy. Connally is widely known for being wounded in the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy; he was riding in the presidential limousine and was critically injured.
