
Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi
Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is a sacred fig tree located in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It is revered by Buddhists as it is believed to be a descendant of the original Bodhi tree under which Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, attained enlightenment over 2,500 years ago.
