Jalaluddin Haqqani
Jalaluddin Haqqani was an Afghan Islamic militant leader and the founder of the Haqqani Network, a militant group involved in conflicts in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Originating from a respected religious family, he played a significant role during Afghanistan’s Soviet invasion in the 1980s, fighting against Soviet forces with U.S. and Pakistani support. Later, his group became known for complex insurgency tactics, including attacks on NATO and Afghan government targets.
