Jalali Calendar

The Jalali calendar, also known as the Persian calendar, is a solar calendar used in Iran and Afghanistan. It is designed to align closely with the Earth's revolutions around the Sun, ensuring seasons occur at consistent times each year. The calendar starts from the year of the Islamic prophet Muhammad's migration (622 AD), but its year count differs from the Gregorian calendar. It features 12 months, with the first six months having 31 days, the next five with 30 days, and the final month typically 29 days, or 30 in leap years. This system offers high precision in reflecting the solar year.
