Jäätteenmäki Government

The Jäätteenmäki Government was Finland’s coalition government led by Prime Minister Anneli Jäätteenmäki from April to June 2003. It was a short-lived administration formed after the 2003 parliamentary elections, consisting of the Centre Party, the Social Democratic Party, and the Swedish People’s Party. The government focused on domestic reforms and continued Finland’s integration with the European Union. However, it dissolved quickly due to a political scandal involving misuse of classified documents, leading to Jäätteenmäki’s resignation and the formation of a new government.
