Ivory Coast, also known as Côte d'Ivoire, is a country in West Africa bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. The country’s economy is mainly driven by agriculture, especially cocoa and coffee production—making it one of the world’s largest cocoa exporters. Its capital is Yamoussoukro, while Abidjan is the largest city and economic hub. Ivory Coast experienced periods of political instability but has been working toward stability and development. It’s known for its rich cultural heritage and valuable natural resources.
