Ivanovka culture

The Ivanovka culture, dating to around 3300–2800 BCE in the Eurasian steppes, is notable for its early use of metallurgy, particularly copper, and distinctive burial practices, such as inhumation and desire for prestige goods. It reflects a transitional society moving from hunting and gathering to more settled, metal-using communities. The culture represents an important phase in the development of later Eurasian steppe cultures, highlighting social differentiation and technological innovation during the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age.
