ITER Council
The ITER Council is the governing body of the ITER project, an international effort to build a large-scale fusion energy experiment. Comprising representatives from member countries, it oversees the project's progress, budget, and technical decisions. Its goal is to ensure the smooth coordination of construction, research, and development activities, with the aim of demonstrating that fusion energy can be a safe, sustainable, and virtually limitless energy source. The Council provides strategic leadership, monitors milestones, and facilitates collaboration among scientists, engineers, and governments involved in this complex and groundbreaking scientific endeavor.
