Iqbal Masih

Iqbal Masih was a Pakistani child laborer and activist known for his courageous stand against child labor. Born in 1983, he was forced to work in a carpet factory at a young age. After escaping, he became a prominent voice advocating for children's rights and the abolition of child labor. Iqbal traveled internationally to raise awareness and inspire change, highlighting the plight of many children in similar situations. Tragically, he was murdered in 1995, but his legacy continues to inspire efforts to protect children's rights and combat exploitation around the world.
