International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU)

The International Council for Scientific Unions (ICSU) was a global organization that brought together national and international scientific unions to promote international collaboration, advance science, and address worldwide challenges. It facilitated communication among scientists across different disciplines and countries, supporting research initiatives, setting scientific standards, and informing policy decisions. In 2018, ICSU merged with the International Social Science Council to form the International Science Council (ISC), continuing its mission to foster scientific cooperation and the responsible use of science for societal benefit.
