Interface

An interface is a shared boundary or point of communication between two systems, devices, or components, allowing them to work together. Think of it like a front desk where different technologies or programs interact, exchange information, and perform tasks seamlessly. In software, an interface defines how different parts of a program, or different programs, connect and communicate. In hardware, it’s the port or connection point (like USB) ensuring devices can connect and function properly. Essentially, an interface makes diverse systems compatible and enables smooth, efficient interaction.
