intelligence theories

Intelligence theories attempt to explain how we think and learn. The most well-known is Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, which suggests that people have different kinds of intelligences, such as linguistic, logical-mathematical, and interpersonal. Another theory, the triarchic theory by Robert Sternberg, breaks intelligence into analytical, creative, and practical components. The Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) theory combines aspects of previous theories, focusing on fluid and crystallized intelligence. Each theory highlights that intelligence is not a single ability but a combination of various skills and capabilities, reflecting the diverse ways in which people excel and process information.
