Inkatha
Inkatha, also known as Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), is a political organization in South Africa founded in 1975. It primarily represents Zulu interests and has historically promoted traditional Zulu culture and values. The party played a significant role during the struggle against apartheid, advocating for regional autonomy and grappling with issues of ethnicity and governance. While it aimed to improve the lives of Zulu people through political participation, it also experienced conflicts and rivalries, particularly with the African National Congress (ANC). Today, Inkatha continues as a political party focusing on regional and national issues within South Africa.
