Injection Blow Molding

Injection blow molding is a manufacturing process used to produce plastic bottles and containers with smooth, precise shapes. It involves three main steps: first, molten plastic is injected into a metal mold to form a preform, similar to a test tube. Next, the preform is transferred to a blow mold where compressed air expands it to match the shape of the final container. This process ensures consistent dimensions and strength. It’s efficient for high-volume production of small to medium-sized bottles, combining the accuracy of injection molding with the shape-forming of blow molding.
