Inference Engines

An inference engine is a part of artificial intelligence that helps systems make conclusions based on available information. For example, if you see a wet street, the inference engine might suggest that it rained, even without direct evidence. It evaluates various possibilities and selects the most plausible one based on prior knowledge.
