Indo-Pacific Command

The Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) is a major military organization of the United States responsible for overseeing U.S. military operations and strategic interests across the Indo-Pacific region, which includes Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, Australia, and the Indian Ocean. Its goals are to ensure regional stability, deter potential conflicts, support allies, and promote free navigation and trade. INDOPACOM coordinates the efforts of U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine forces in this vast and diverse area, working closely with regional partners to maintain peace and security.
