Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a customized plan developed for students with disabilities to ensure they receive appropriate educational support. Mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), IEPs outline specific learning goals, the services and accommodations the student will receive, and how progress will be measured. The IEP team, which includes educators, parents, and specialists, collaborates to create and review the plan annually, tailoring the educational experience to meet the student’s unique needs and help them succeed in school.
