Icosahedron
An icosahedron is a three-dimensional shape with 20 flat triangular faces, 12 vertices (corners), and 30 edges. It belongs to a family of shapes called Platonic solids, which are highly symmetrical. Each face connects to three others along shared edges, creating a harmonious and balanced structure. Due to its symmetry, an icosahedron appears the same from many viewpoints and is often used in games, architecture, and molecular modeling. Its geometric properties make it both aesthetically appealing and mathematically significant, representing a perfect example of regular polyhedral symmetry.
