Hydrogen-powered vehicles
Hydrogen-powered vehicles use hydrogen gas as their fuel to generate electricity through a fuel cell, which then powers an electric motor. When hydrogen combines with oxygen in the fuel cell, it produces electricity, water, and heat—all without harmful emissions. These vehicles offer quick refueling times and long driving ranges, making them a promising eco-friendly alternative to traditional gasoline cars. They produce no tailpipe pollutants, helping reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases. However, infrastructure for hydrogen refueling is still developing, and producing hydrogen in an environmentally friendly way remains a key consideration for widespread adoption.
