Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV)
A Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) combines a traditional gasoline engine with an electric motor to power the car. This setup allows the vehicle to switch between or use both power sources to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. The electric motor assists during acceleration and recovers energy during braking, stored in a battery. HEVs don’t need to be plugged in, as they generate electric power on the go. By combining both systems, HEVs offer a more eco-friendly driving experience without sacrificing the convenience and range of a conventional car.
