Hornsea One
Hornsea One is a large offshore wind farm located in the North Sea off the coast of Yorkshire, England. It consists of 174 wind turbines, generating enough electricity to power over one million homes. The farm captures wind energy and converts it into electricity, contributing to the UK’s renewable energy goals. Completed in 2020, Hornsea One covers approximately 407 square kilometers and is one of the world's largest offshore wind farms. Its development helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on fossil fuels, supporting a transition to cleaner, sustainable energy sources.
