Hongmen
Hongmen, also known as the "Red Gate Society," was a secret Chinese organization founded during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, primarily composed of anti-Qing revolutionaries and patriotic Han Chinese. They operated covertly to oppose Qing rule and promote Chinese independence. The society played a significant role in revolutionary activities leading to the fall of the Qing dynasty in 1912. Historically, Hongmen is notable for its clandestine operations, secret rituals, and influence on modern Chinese nationalist movements. Today, it is often remembered as a symbol of resistance and patriotism in Chinese history.
