Honey bee

A honey bee is a social insect that lives in large, organized colonies. They play a vital role in pollinating many plants and crops, which helps produce fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Honey bees communicate through dances to share information about food sources and work collectively to build and maintain hive structures made of wax. The colony includes a queen bee, who lays eggs; worker bees, who forage, take care of the young, and protect the hive; and male drones, whose primary role is mating with the queen. Bees produce honey as a food reserve, essential for surviving cold months.
