Homosexuality

Homosexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by romantic or sexual attraction between individuals of the same sex. It is a natural variation of human sexuality and exists across cultures and throughout history. People who identify as homosexual may describe themselves as gay (often used for men) or lesbian (for women). Homosexuality is distinct from sexual behavior; it encompasses emotional and relational aspects as well. It is recognized by major medical and psychological organizations as a normal part of human diversity, and individuals have the right to express their sexual orientation without discrimination.
