Hindustan Ghadar Party
The Hindustan Ghadar Party was an Indian revolutionary organization founded in 1913 in the United States, aiming to overthrow British rule in India. Comprising mostly Indian immigrants, especially Punjabis, its members sought to inspire and coordinate efforts for independence through journalism, advocacy, and planning revolutionary actions. The party promoted nationalism and criticized colonial oppression, ultimately influencing the Indian independence movement. Though its activities faced suppression, it played a significant role in galvanizing anti-colonial sentiments among Indians abroad and contributed to the broader struggle for independence.
