Henrietta Anne of France

Henrietta Anne of France (1601–1669) was a French princess, the youngest daughter of King Henry IV of France and Marie de' Medici. Known for her intelligence and wit, she married the future Charles I of England, becoming Queen Consort of England, Scotland, and Ireland from 1625 to 1642. Her marriage strengthened alliances between France and England. Henrietta Anne was active at court and played a significant role in political and diplomatic affairs. After her husband's execution, she moved to France, where she remained a respected figure until her death.
