Hegelian Idealism
Hegelian Idealism is a philosophical perspective developed by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, which posits that reality is fundamentally shaped by consciousness and ideas. According to Hegel, everything in the universe, including history and existence, unfolds through a process where ideas evolve and develop through contradictions and their resolutions—a process called the dialectic. The ultimate reality is seen as a rational, interconnected whole where mind or spirit (the "Absolute") actualizes itself through this development. In essence, Hegel believed that reality and thought are deeply intertwined, and understanding emerges through the evolving history of ideas.
