Heat
Heat is a form of energy that transfers between objects or systems due to a temperature difference. It moves from warmer to cooler areas, seeking to balance temperature levels. This transfer can occur through conduction (direct contact), convection (fluid movement), or radiation (energy emitted as electromagnetic waves). Heat affects physical states, speeds up or slows molecular activity, and is fundamental to weather, engines, and biological processes. Essentially, heat is the energy in transit that results from temperature disparities, driving changes and interactions across natural and engineered systems.
