Health and Illness
Health refers to a state of physical, mental, and social well-being, where individuals can perform daily activities and cope with stress. Illness, on the other hand, is the experience of symptoms or conditions that disrupt this state of well-being, often caused by disease, injury, or psychological factors. While health is a broad concept encompassing overall balance, illness specifically denotes a deviation from that balance, leading to discomfort or dysfunction. Both concepts are interconnected, as good health promotes resilience against illness, while managing illness can improve one's overall health status.
