Hazara history
The Hazara are an ethnic group from Afghanistan, recognized for their distinct Central Asian features and Shia Islam faith. Historically linked to the Mongol Empire, they faced discrimination, oppression, and violence, especially under Taliban rule. Despite hardships, they have maintained their culture, language (Hazaragi), and traditions. Today, Hazaras seek greater political representation, security, and recognition within Afghanistan, continuing to contribute to the country's diverse social fabric. Their history reflects resilience amid challenges stemming from ethnic and religious differences in the region.
