Hassan-i Sabbah

Hassan-i Sabbah was a medieval Persian thinker and leader of the Nizari Ismaili sect, known for founding the Assassin Order in the late 11th century. Operating mainly in Persia and Syria, he established a network of fortified strongholds and used strategic diplomacy and targeted assassinations to influence political adversaries. His aim was to promote his religious and political ideas, often employing covert methods to maintain power and spread his influence.
