Halaal meat processing
Halal meat processing involves slaughtering animals in accordance with Islamic law, emphasizing compassion and specific procedures. The animal must be healthy, and the process is performed by a Muslim who recites a blessing (takbir) at the moment of slaughter. The sharp knife is used to make a swift, humane cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery, and windpipe, ensuring rapid blood loss and minimal pain. The blood is fully drained, and the meat is then handled separately to maintain its halal status, avoiding contamination with non-halal products. This method prioritizes both ethical treatment and religious requirements.
